We are looking for a talented, motivated, Mid-level to Senior Full Stack Web Developer to join our Tech Team. This is a great opportunity for anybody interested working with modern frameworks within a small team on products that support the public sector and third sector to make better informed decisions.
You will be working largely on our suite of products, and will be centrally involved in the development of new products and services.
You will take the lead from start to finish on such things as:

Continual learning: OCSI is a safe place to learn and grow. The world of tech is fast paced with things constantly changing, evolving or being invented. We encourage exploring and learning new ways of doing things, we are not afraid to experiment and implement new ideas.
Flexible: Aside from regular meetings (such as daily Stand-ups and weekly Sprints), it is down to you to decide how to plan and carry out your work. We know you have a life outside of work and offer flexible working hours to accommodate childcare, appointments and personal preferences for start / finish times.
You are someone who:

These skills would be great (but it’s not a deal breaker):
Based in Brighton, we are a social research consultancy with a strong technical focus. We use our expertise in research and technology to provide tools, analysis and support for organisations working for social good.
We work with place-based data to help organisations better understand the communities they serve. We do this through consultancy projects such as the Indices of Deprivation and our work on left behind neighbourhoods. We also deliver long-term subscription based products (such as Local Insight and Community Insight) that provide direct access to local level data in easy to use platforms.
Take a look at our website to find out more about the projects we are working on.
We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds, especially those from underrepresented groups.
If you like the sound of all this, please send a copy of your CV and a covering letter to kimberley.gregory@ocsi.co.uk .
The deadline for applications is 10th April and we are looking to schedule skills tests and interviews for the week beginning 17th April
We look forward to hearing from you!
