The National Lottery Community Fund is one of the largest funders of community activity in the UK, distributing significant resources to projects that matter to local people. To ensure this funding reaches the right places, the organisation requires an understanding of the needs, assets, and challenges found within different neighbourhoods.
The organisation relies on internal Local Area Dashboards to help disseminate this information.
We supported the development of the National Lottery Community Fund’s ‘Local Area Dashboards’ by providing data across a wide-ranging set of indicators, allowing for a nuanced understanding of the factors that shape a community.
These included indicators from the AHAH Index, DWP Benefits Data, 360 Giving Grant Nav Data and Census Demographic Data – among others.
This was provided at both Local Authority and Middle Layer Super Output Area (MSOA) levels, and will be used to ensure that staff can quickly assess local needs and monitor trends over time.
We’ll collect and clean the data, so you can focus on using it
We’ll work with you to provide the best selection, based on your requirements or theme of work
Data packs will be provided in an easy to understand and accessible format
