Making LIS work: Improving performance and service outcomes – presentation

OCSI Director Tom Smith spoke at the Making Local Information Systems (LIS) work in your area: Improving performance and service outcomes conference, held at the Local Government Association.

The presentation covered recent work carried out by OCSI on Supporting local research and analysis: understanding demand and improving capacity, identifying how national and regional organisations can best support research and analysis at local level. The project was jointly commissioned by the Department of Communities and Local Government, Audit Commission, Local Government Association, and Improvement and Development Agency.

Tom’s conference presentation is available, and the final project and recommendations should be available shortly (please contact OCSI on info@ocsi.co.uk if you would like to get a copy of the final report when available).
