A Scottish Parliamentary Constituency is a geographic electoral area used to elect Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs) to the Scottish Parliament (Holyrood). There are 73 constituencies, each electing one MSP through the first-past-the-post system. These are supplemented by eight additional regions, which elect MSPs using a proportional representation system. Not to be confused with the 57 Scottish Westminster Parliamentary Constituencies.
